Aethra Warranty
Subject to the provisions described below, Aethra products are protected by a warranty period defined by the relative law-in-force or by a single sales contract, from defects in material and workmanship.
Should a product fail to perform correctly within the warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced with the same, or functionally equivalent product by Aethra free-of-charge. This warranty applies to Aethra-manufactured products only. Monitors and other equipment, which may be supplied as part of the Video Conferencing equipment, will be covered under their manufactures’ respective warranties.
This warranty does not apply if, in the judgment of Aethra, the product fails due to damage from shipment, handling, storage, accident, abuse or misuse, or if it has been used or maintained in a manner not conforming to the product manual instructions, has been modified in any way, or has had any serial number removed or defaced. Repair by anyone other than Aethra or an approved agent will also void this warranty. Parts subject to wear are also excluded from the warranty.In order to benefit from the Aethra warranty the customer must:
1) Register on the website
http://www.aethra.com/warranty using the link indicated and follow the instructions for compilation within 30 days of the purchase date, or alternatively complete and return, within 30 days of the original date of purchase, the “Aethra® Product Registration Card” that accompanied the products when shipped
2) Return the failed product to an Aethra-designated repair facility via prepaid shipping
3) Provide Aethra with proof of the original date of purchase.Failure to carry out any of the above-mentioned points will result in the invalidation of the Aethra Warranty offer, thereby limiting the warranty of this product to the minimum legal warranty, if any, required by the Government where the product was purchased.
Aethra reserves the right to repair and/or substitute faulty parts with new or ‘as new’ regenerated parts.Repaired or replacement products will be returned to you with shipping charges prepaid.If Aethra determines that it is unable to repair or replace the defective product, it will The maximum liability of Aethra under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the product covered by the warranty. Prior to returning any defective product, the end customer, through the reseller from whom the end customer originally purchased the product, must obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from Aethra.All defective products should be returned to Aethra with shipping charges prepaid. Aethra will not accept collect shipments.Aethra will only accept hardware in the original packaging. Packaging material can be purchased by calling the Aethra Customer Support Worldwide Assistance of your area of operations. Dead on Arrival (DOA): in the case of a product being received at the customer’s premises DOA (DOA defined as an Aethra product or Aethra part, or accessory or peripheral which fails within 30 days of receipt by the end-user), Aethra will advance replace the unit. Aethra will pay shipping in both directions. Aethra will not be responsible for any customs duties or taxes.
Except as specifically provided in this agreement or as required by law, the warranties and remedies stated above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, express or implied. Any and all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of third-party rights are expressly excluded. Aethra shall not under any circumstances be liable to any person for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages including, with limitation, damages resulting from use or malfunction of the products, loss of profits or revenues, or costs of replacement goods, even if Aethra is informed in advance of the possibility of such damages.
